Description
After this course the driver will have a greater understanding of basic life support, CPR & First Aid kits. The driver will be introduced to basic first aid skills ensuring that the EMS are called and professional medical help gained. To get drivers thinking about possible dangers, therefore reducing the chance of an accident happening. To ensure all drivers know the importance of immediate professional care and how to activate it. To be able to deal with the following conditions: Choking, Spinal Injury, Serious Bleeding, Minor Injuries, Seizures, Anaphylactic, Shock, Burns and Scalds. To have an understanding of breaks, crush injuries and head injuries. To be able to understand the dangers of dealing with an accident on your own and near a road
