Description
This training course includes the very latest method of 3D Print Manufacture and Scanning. As this requires no human intervention the cost of manufacture in the UK becomes similar to that of China. This technology creates a three-dimensional structure or complex enclosure by printing layers of metal or plastic i.e. growing the product. This is the way all companies will manufacture in the future and those wanting to go into manufacturing or product design will need to understand and program it. The length of training may vary depending on the objectives covered, the ratio of trainee/instructor and the ability and previous experience of the trainees but is normally 10days (60 hrs). The delivery of training covers theory and practical. Following the introduction the student will start by selecting objects from the web to print and move on to designing objects or enclosures to print using the design program Sketchup or another preferred 3D drawing package. The student will then move on to scanning in and printing a human head, or pet etc and paint them e.g. busts of a bride and bridegroom to be given away/sold at the reception or loved pet etc.
